Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Entry Level Business Transformation Consultant with a focus on Big Data (BTC) at IBM, you will work at the interface between technology, people and process and support our customers in improving their adaptability to market changes and better aligning their business strategy and vision. You will help our customers understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes.

You work on the development and implementation of tailor-made data platforms that serve as the basis for data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. You will work with a motivated and diverse team in an international context and innovative state-of-the-art tools and technologies.

Together with the customer, you identify innovative data-driven use cases (e.g. in design thinking format) and implement them in an agile project environment together with mixed teams together with the customer. In addition, you will support our customers in identifying strategies to exploit the previously unimagined potential of large amounts of data, develop innovative ideas and derive successful business models.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, or economics related to computer science (or similar courses)

• Analytical skills and conceptual thinking skills

• Interested in team-oriented and agile project work

• Flexibility & willingness to travel

• Communication security in German & English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Initial experience with Big Data/Data Science technologies

• Experience in data analysis, evaluation or data visualization

• Initial knowledge of using data platforms in the cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Snowflake, etc.)
