Job Description
As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. The IBM Client Innovation Center is an exciting and innovative part of IBM, where we work as IBM Consulting's technical delivery partner. Our task is to develop and implement IT solutions for our customers in areas such as Data & Analytics, Software Development, UX & Design and project management. Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Data Scientist with programming skills who wants to work with the latest technologies within Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics and Cloud technologies. With us, a Data Scientist's work does not end with a confusion matrix and a Power Point presentation. We put energy into the solutions we develop in collaboration with our customers, just as we want to chase business value, rather than 8. decimals” improvements.
About the position

You will be an important part of our growing Data & Analytics team, which with data behind it creates innovative solutions and noticeable business results through analysis and modeling of large amounts of data. In close collaboration with other IBMers and our clients' own specialists, you will:
- Work with Advanced Analytics methods such as Machine Learning, Optimisation, Statistics on large amounts of data, etc., and continuously contribute to innovating with our customers in the field.
- Create business insight and solve business or social problems based on data, at the same time that you, as a consultant, will have a high degree of customer contact.
- Work with the latest technologies within Cloud, and develop and implement high-quality Data Science solutions with our customers.
- Join our dynamic and fast-growing Data & Analytics team and work on different projects where you will gain knowledge of different industries.
- Collaboration with our developers, UX designers, automation consultants and business analysts in cross-functional teams.
Who are you
To suit the role of Data Scientist with us, we imagine that you:
- Is a recent graduate or perhaps has a few years of relevant experience with data handling and analysis
- Has a mathematical educational background or experience with mathematical modeling and optimization problems.
- You have skills in programming languages such as Python, R, Java and C# as well as data visualization.
- Want to develop your skills in handling Cloud technologies, databases, API integrations, etc.
- Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English.
In addition to your technical skills, we imagine that you:
- Are analytically strong, have a good overview and a natural approach to how you navigate large and complex data sets.
- Are outgoing, proactive and good at putting yourself in the customer's situation and understanding their needs.
- Is curious and innovative, and wants to challenge the status quo in the IT industry.
