Job Description
In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of data infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines to support machine learning and AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration of models into production systems.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies throughout the data engineering lifecycle.
- Mentor the team of data engineers and data scientists.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must have skills:
- Technical skills with demonstrable experience in people management.
- Certification in data engineering, machine learning, or AI.
Must have demonstrable expereince in some of the following:
- Design, develop and optimise ETL processes.
- Middleware: Spark, Spring, Hibernate, Apache Iceberg.
- Code: Python, Java, SQL.
- Database: MS SQL Server, Oracle, Azure Cosmos DB, DB2, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL.
- Cloud platforms and their services : AWS, Azure, GCP.
- DevOps tools.
- Containerization, orchestration.
- Power BI, AWS QuickSight, JSP, JSF.
