The Cloud and Cognitive Software Essential Management Management team is looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join us. In addition, you will help drive delivery to leading-edge technology in Openshift, Cloud Pak for Data, Watson Knowledge catalog, Instana and Watson Artificial Intelligent IT Operations (Watson AIOps)

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Essential Management Advisor team ensure the client workload and applications are configured, running proper process, this role is for a senior architect level expert or data scientist with excellent ability to be able to support and advise clients on solution design, architecture, and business transformation. Working closely & collaboratively with the Expert Operations Support and Administrator teams, the Expert Advisor is expected to have excellent communication skills, and strong business acumen as talking with client executives is part of the roles and responsibilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Foundational OpenShift, dockers, containers knowledge
• Experience with IBM API Connect,IBM App Connect Enterprise,IBM MQ or Datapower is desired
• Linux/Unix working experience. Good Analytical and troubleshooting Skills, , Experience in Maximo, cloud pak for data, cloudpak for Automation , Data and AI , Cognos , IIB , Maximo EAM (Understanding of Core Maximo EAM, MAS Manage Modules, Maximo EAM / MAS Manage base schema), MDM
• OpenShift Skills, Installation of MAS , Ansible Scripts
• Strong client facing, communications and collaboration skills
• Able to handle stress and volume of workload
• Document and write runbooks with initial resolution
• Understanding Jira, GitHub and salesforce
• Ability to Read and analyze server, application logs
• Able to diagnose problems/Issues/defects and communicate back to client
• Coordinate with all support levels till the closure of the ticket and Coordinate with /L3/L4 /Soc team for Sev1 and Security breach incident.
• Understanding of solutions on multiple public and private clouds
• Experience writing python and shell scripts
• Experience implementing operational best practices such as monitoring, alerting, metadata management

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Certification CP4I, Openshift or CKA is preffered
• Experience with ansible, jenkins , teraform preferred
