As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of active enterprise client engagements to prepare the clients for future use case commercialization
  • Establish trust and cultivate client relationships and establish IBM quantum eminence with client stakeholders
  • Bring a consultative mindset and project management rigor to orchestrate the outcome of delivery excellence
  • Lead the client delivery team to successfully deliver to all contractual obligations and client expectations
  • Achieve a high NPS promoter score of 9 or 10 in the client engagements that you lead
  • Effectively represent and communicate the differentiated market-leading value proposition based on knowledge quantum computing and industry use case applications, emerging technology market, and the competitive landscape
  • Have a clear understanding and provide reporting (both external to the client and internal to Delivery Excellence operations practice) of the progress, status, and health of the client engagements you are leading, anticipate risks and manage resolution of issues with well-defined action plans
  • Provide input and feedback on client experience, and on effectiveness of offering assets, accelerators, and methods of delivery to help improve and enhance the offering.
  • Enable and support the creation of client case studies, endorsements, testimonials that can be leveraged in IBM Quantum go to market activities and to promote joint eminence.
  • Manage staffing according to the planned delivery staffing models for the Quantum Accelerator offering,

Global client-related travel will be required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong project management and program management leadership skills, background and experience
  • Strong client delivery engagement and relationship management skills and experience
  • Emerging technology and strategy background combined with an education background in STEM
  • Preferably, have an understanding of industry use applications of quantum computing
  • 3+ years of experience in leading delivery engagements and project management
  • 3+ years of experience in strong business and technology strategy consulting
  • 3+ years of experience in strong ideation, facilitation, and communications skills
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales and client relationship management experience
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week
  • English: Fluent

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in strong business and technology strategy consulting delivery
  • 10+ years of experience in strong ideation, facilitation and communications skills
  • 10+ years of experience in consultative sales and client relationship management experience
