We are currently looking for a Data Engineer with strong technical skills and an eye for data, who wants to work with the latest technologies within Cloud and database technology, and will help follow Big Data solutions from design to implementation and production.

Your Role and Responsibilities

About the position

As a consultancy, our clients' challenges range widely; from handling many terabytes of streaming data to building scalable data storage and advanced analytics solutions in the Cloud. In this position, you will be a key person in solving these challenges. In close collaboration with other IBMers and our customers' own specialists, you will get to try your hand at:

• Build architecture, infrastructure and data pipelines in several of the large Cloud environments.
• Work with the latest technologies in data handling and storage in the Cloud.
• Create data-driven growth and innovation in a variety of industries.
• Work in cross-functional teams with data scientists, software developers, UX designers, automation consultants and business analysts.
• Create valuable end-user insights by applying complex business logic to Big Data.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

We work with local customers in Denmark, so it is a requirement that you can conduct yourself professionally in both Danish and English.

Who are you?

To suit the role of Data Engineer, we expect you to:

• Are about to finish your studies, have just graduated or have a few years' experience with data handling.
• Have an educational background or work experience that has exposed you to programming (e.g. Python and R) and working with data and infrastructure (e.g. SQL, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes etc.).
• Have experience with (or want to develop your skills within) Cloud technology, databases, ETL/ELT processes and API integrations.
• Is analytically strong, has a good overview and can navigate large and complex data sets.
• Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English.

In addition to your technical skills, we imagine that you:

• Has a strong business understanding and good communication skills.
• Outgoing, proactive and good at putting yourself in the customer's situation and understanding their needs.
• Curious and innovative, and wants to challenge the status quo in the IT industry.
