We have built new opportunities for individuals to work on the most exciting new products introduced by Apple. We are seeking for individual with solid understanding/skills. This position will reside in one of the manufacture site and works closely with the various engineering to support the needs for operational team.

Key Qualifications

• We're looking for talents who can meet either one of below requirements:
• Requirement 1:
• Ability to work in team-based environment
• Proficient in English communication skills
• High degree of motivation, curiosity, passion, creativity
• Computer aided design (CAD) skills: 3D CAD experience required (Abaqus, Ansys, NX preferred)
• Basic design skills: tolerances analysis, design for assembly (DFA), design for manufacturing (DFM), simple fixture design, understanding of Statistical Process Controls (SPC), understanding of metrology (basic knowledge of measurement systems)
• Based in Changsha, or Shenzhen, >3month full time
• OR
• Requirement 2:
• Major: Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related areas
• In-depth knowledge in deep learning (DL) and statistical machine learning (ML).
• Proven experience in time series forecasting.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research and publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Excellent presentation skills.

We're looking for talents for either one of below directions:

Direction 1:

Design and optimize glass forming process, including forming machine, tool and parameter, by using 3D FEA/simulation software.

Provide optimize solution on CT/material/product strength/ surface quality etc.

Trouble shooting on forming defects, and provide action plan.

Negotiating and collaborating cross functionally with various departments, such as Tooling, Product Design, Quality, Subject Matter Expert.

OR

Direction 2:

Dig into current production data, look into optimize opportunity with data mining and machine learning. Training and applying models into production line.

E.g, predict the best AGV path from machine cycle time and downtime; optimize CNC tool life based on history and live tool life data.

Education & Experience

BS, MS or PhD in Mechanics, Thermal, Computer, Non-metallic Inorganic Material or other relevant fields. Elective Thermodynamics is a plus.

Or major in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related areas.
