Key Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Expert knowledge in computational geometry
• 3D math skills (linear algebra, linear and non-linear optimization, graph theory)
• Content creation pipelines knowledge
• Experience implementing and optimizing algorithms for 3D graphics data
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge in image/video/3D graphics compression is a plus

Description

The Software Architecture organization in Vision Product Group (VPG) is looking for a skilled computational geometry expert to contribute to start-art-of-the-art mesh processing techniques. In this role, you will perform development work to implement key computational geometry algorithms to streamline Vision Pro assets content creation and visualization.

Education & Experience

BS, MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering or 2+ years of relevant industry experience with a track record of successful projects

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
