Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years driving operational excellence with cross-functional teams building hardware and software
  • 5+ years of Apple program office experience preferred or equivalent scale project management
  • iOS/macOS Apple experience preferred
  • Prior experience and demonstrated, consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects with high quality.
  • Demonstrated track record in operational excellence: e.g. quantifying capacity, reprioritization, and evaluation of hotspots, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of large scale, cross functional software development and quality practices
  • Experience with inspiring change in software processes and engineering culture
  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts across the domains that Apple operates
  • Works well across teams and functions, understands competing priorities, and able to see the big picture, demonstrating ability to move the organization toward a stated goal.
  • Ability to represent and advocate for the team in meetings of all levels, delivering the right message based on the audience

Description

You will inspire large cross-functional software quality and efficiency improvement across development, quality, and program office teams. You are unafraid to ask the hard questions, will drive operational excellence across Test Engineering and Engineering Efficiency, enabling the team to quantify and improve capacity, efficacy, investments, etc. This requires strong cross-functional partnership and relationship building and a deep understanding of how software is built and ways we can improve that process. You will lead multi-functional efforts across teams as you evangelize and drive new processes forward, monitor metrics, and communicate progress towards goals.

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Science prefer Master’s of Science in Computer Science or an Engineering oriented degree

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
