Job Description

As part of the Apple Vision Pro team, you will join a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to discover and build solutions that will shape the future of spatial-computing. We are exploring multi-sensor information to understand human interactions and the environment we interact with. We are looking for a driven and dedicated computer vision/machine learning research engineer, optimally with experience in 3D computer vision algorithms, generative AI, that thrives in a collaborative and excelence driven environment. Key Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or CVML related field
• 4+ years of industry experience in CVML, developing computer vision products
• Experience applying ML models to one or more of the following areas : computer vision, AR / VR, video understanding, data-centric AI or generative AI
• Publication record in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc).
• Hands-on experience working with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax or Tensorflow.
• Excellent coding skills in Python. C/C++ experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role provides a unique opportunity to work on future spatial computing technologies, working with top-class researchers and engineers. You will work on some of the most ambitious technical problems on data and compute efficient machine learning and spatial AI, collaborate with world-class ML researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to production and provide technical mentorship and guidance.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
