Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building, managing, and leading highly skilled engineers
  • Experience building and delivering customer-facing products and experiences in close partnership with creative teams, including design and UX
  • A track record of running high-performance teams and demonstrated skills in managing complex engineering and cross-functional projects
  • Dedicated, motivated, self-driven problem solver with cross-functional partnerships and leadership skills
  • Proactive communicator, with experience guiding strong results from teams that span geographic boundaries
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow technical teams

Join Apple's Information Intelligence team as an Engineering Manager to deliver the best experiences across Siri, Spotlight, and Safari. We help guide the products, applications, and features that bring the best of our complex search technologies to Apple users. From Natural Language Processing, Query Understanding, Machine Learning, Ranking and Relevance, Big Data consumption all the way to complex Experiences. Be ready to architect and develop robust products and applications for Search Applications across Siri, Spotlight, and Safari. This role will have the following responsibilities: · Surprising and delighting Siri, Spotlight, and Safari users · Drive experience and product improvements for information-seeking requests in Siri, Spotlight, and Safari · Manage, mentor, and grow strong teams of software engineers · Architect and develop Search products, features, and improvements · Drive technical and cross-functional projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment

Education & Experience

B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,300 and $301,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
