Key Qualifications

• Passion for user experience and experience with building commercial software products and services
• 5+ years experience as an engineering manager
• Ability to build, grow and lead a global software engineering team
• Ability to build a team culture that emphasizes teamwork, engineering excellence, customer focus, and innovation
• Applied experience in software development in large-scale, Cloud-based data analytic pipelines and/or modern web or native applications.
• Excellent listening and communication skills

Description

You will be a critical functional leader on the AIML Data Operations leadership team. You will work closely with internal partners to understand their software needs and lead the engineering team to deliver and operate high-quality software solutions. As part of the central AIML team, you will have the opportunity to work closely and innovate with product engineering teams across Apple on new customer experiences. Our team’s work contributes directly to new products and features announced at WWDC this year such as Vision Pro, AirPods Pro Adaptive Audio, iOS 17 features such as crafting Live Stickers from your photos, evoking Siri by just saying “Siri” and adding more image categories to Visual Lookup.

Education & Experience

B.S in Computer Science or related degree

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000 and $301,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
