Job Description

We are looking for talented robotics algorithm engineers to join our team and solve challenging real-world problems in perception and motion planning.

Key Qualifications

• Background in at least 2 of: robotic perception, state estimation, robotic motion planning, nonlinear optimization, machine learning
• Experience working on physical robotic systems
• Strong programming and software engineering skills
• 4+ years of professional or equivalent experience

Description

You will enable exciting new products by designing and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms. This involves thinking through use cases, communicating with collaborators, and shipping software systems. You must be able to formalize a feature concept into a technical problem statement, and then design, implement, and validate an algorithmic solution. You should enjoy working on fast-paced, rapidly developing projects while maintaining focus on the product vision.

Education & Experience

• MSc or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Additional Requirements

• Experience optimizing code for real-time performance
• Familiarity with Swift

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
