Job Description

• 10+ years of industry experience
• Experience with developing batch & scheduling systems for computation at scale
• Experience with working cross functionally across disparate organizations to achieve shared company-wide goals
• Familiarity with development lifecycles for large software projects
• Experience with translating sophisticated functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Experience in designing systems with high performance, scalability and availability
• Familiarity with public cloud environments like AWS, GCP and others
• Knowledge of containerization concept like Docker, Kubernetes and others
• High ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on leader to drive quality in usability and experience
• Ability to design, architect and quickly complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid Go and REST based development

Description

Your technical knowledge to drive features and improvements is important. The nature of day to day role is highly cross-functional; therefore it’s equally important that you must be comfortable with rapidly evolving requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll be working with development & test teams across AIML to assess and provide tooling that makes the development process more efficient and enjoyable. You will work closely with engineers, QA, and project managers to understand the full software development lifecycle from initial planning, design, all the way to delivery.

Education & Experience

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements

• - Specific responsibilities include a wide range of software engineering tasks across multiple AIML domain areas
• - Drive cross functional teams to capture requirements, understand dependencies and architecture, and implement solutions with out of box thinking
• - Work with multiple teams across the organization to gain a deep understanding of the overlapping areas in order to help identify where efficient tooling can help solve problems
• - Participate in the continual improvement of engineering tools and processes
• - Help figure out common service themes across multiple product teams, design and develop tools to enable efficiency, and help product teams integrate those tools, accelerating feature releases

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
