Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in driving large scale program building machine learning powered products
• Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently
• Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+) to execute
• Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience
• Capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities required to forge a path to success
• Proficiency in Agile, SDLC development processes
• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution and management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence
• Ability to independently draft and present results, recommendations and communication strategies

Description

-Create and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams -Coordinate discussions and break down sophisticated issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration -Keep teams on critical path to accomplish quarterly goals on Translation experience and technology improvements -Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources vital to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies -Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team -Effectively lead cross functional collaboration across Machine Translation core engineering team, Marketing, Privacy, Design teams to deliver strong results -Collaborate with other Apple teams to promote cross-team technology sharing

Education & Experience

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field and equivalent experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
