Key Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and/or open source large scale data processing, storage frameworks and platforms
• Experience architecting, building and operating large scale data processing systems in the public cloud
• Hands-on programming experience in C++, Scala, Java, Python or Golang

Description

You will be responsible for designing and building the data platform to empower data analytics and machine learning of worldwide Apple data. As a member of the AIML Data Infrastructure group, your responsibilities include: - Architect, build and manage one of Apple’s largest data infrastructure supporting hundreds of millions of Apple customers. - Lead, mentor and drive partner teams towards successful implementation of solution architectures - Diagnose, fix, improve, and automate complex issues across the entire stack to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and scalability

Education & Experience

BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 12 to 15+ years experience in large scale distributed data processing technologies.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
