We are looking for an exceptional machine learning manager to help provide engineering expertise and innovative thought leadership as we develop our next generation of text recognition solutions that will enrich the everyday lives of millions of people.

Key Qualifications

• Product-focused team management experience
• Proven track record developing vision-based recognition systems
• Intimate knowledge and experience developing ML-based products
• Modern deep learning modeling and development experience with CoreML, Torch, TensorFlow, or related technologies
• Programming fluency in C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift
• Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Description

As a manager, you will lead a growing team to innovate and deliver high-impact features with state-of-the-art machine learning technologies. You will be working on the design and development of core technologies in the areas of text recognition, layout analysis, and document understanding. We’re looking for candidates with applied machine learning experience and expertise in computer vision, image processing, image segmentation, neural networks, and big data development. An ideal candidate should have experience leading and supporting teams to develop ML-based solutions from initial concept through product release.

Education & Experience

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field

Additional Requirements

• Experience productizing text, handwriting, or speech recognition systems
• Experience with iOS, macOS, or Unix development
• Familiarity with performance analysis tools
• Experience developing with OpenCV or similar toolkits
