Key Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience
• Programming language: Java, C++, Swift, Objective C, Python, or Scala
• Extensive experience working across organization verticals and participating in cross-functional partnerships.
• Shown ability to implement new technical expertise on-the-job and work independently to learn new technologies.
• Excellent understanding of an ML-based product lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge and application of statistics-based evaluation methodologies or user success metrics.
• Experience with systems engineering; in-depth understanding of interdependencies of ML and SW components.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale data and compute intensive pipelines and/or tools.
• Ability to develop long-term vision and implement strategies at scale.

Description

Siri’s Conversation Intelligence team is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to help develop Siri’s next generation of natural interactions on Apple’s innovative devices. Our team builds a suite of AI driven systems that are responsible for learning and understanding who the user is, what the user wants, learn from their feedback and respond appropriately. This role requires someone with deep experience developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products. The role requires experience both developing technical strategy as well as successfully delivering tactical engineering projects to realize that strategy over time.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
