Location/Division Specific Information Clinical Sequencing Division Role based in Guilford, CT How will you make an impact? Come join a multidisciplinary team working at the interface of genetic sequencing and semiconductor sensor technology. We are looking for a strong python programmer who is comfortable interacting with databases and tackle complex data sets. Creativity with data visualizations and web development is a plus! What will you do?
Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new insights in our exciting technology • Leverage custom tools to perform analysis in Jupyter notebooks • Develop new data visualization methods with Python libraries (e.g. Matplotlib) • Implement data dashboard(s) support broader R&D How will you get here? Education • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in the engineering or science fields. Experience • Programming experience with Python and common libraries (e.g. numpy, matplotlib, etc.) • Experience working with large data sets Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Ability to explore and analyze data to make data-driven, statistically sound decisions • Proven communication skills • Self-starter mentality, able to work independently or with a team • Experience with Django or web development would be nice to have Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $14.75–$45.75.
