Thermo Fisher is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as Digital Product Manager, Digital Sales Enablement. In this role, you will work with the Sr. Product Manager of Digital Sales enablement to develop and implement the digital sales enablement strategy, tools, and initiatives. You will have individual responsibility for the process, technology and capabilities related to Sales CRM, Sales Content and Sales Collaboration. The Digital Sales Enablement product manager will also be responsible for developing Generative AI solutions to improve Sales rep efficiency and generate new revenue opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of these digital sales enablement solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, technology, and customer needs, along with strong project management and communication skills.

A day in the Life:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning -- Leads project discovery, requirements definition, metrics analysis, and works with IT and business teams to facilitate development of new capabilities in the areas of Sales CRM, Sales Content and Sales Collaboration. Develops the product and feature roadmap for area of responsibility.
  • Sales Tools - Work with the Commercial teams to define the process and build new capabilities for Sales CRM, Sales content and Sales teamwork
  • Generative AI - Drive the development and execution of our product strategy for utilizing Generative AI technology to enhance sales processes and outcomes
  • Sales Insights – Define and build capabilities to deploy insights to advise sales of what prospects and customers need based on their sales and marketing engagement
  • Sales Enablement – Provide Sales with tools to enhance selling process using integrating marketing sales data, content and insights
  • Customer Data Privacy - Responsible for support and compliance of global data privacy laws within the product management area of responsibility
  • Measurement - Define and supervise key performance indicators (critical metrics) to measure the efficiency and impact of digital sales enablement initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Builds case to explain expenditures for new capabilities with demonstrated revenue and profitability gain.
  • Responsible for the enhancing, scaling, optimizing and adoption of product area capabilities across Thermo Fisher Scientific business divisions
  • Develops strategies and capabilities to use artificial intelligence and machine learning for Lead Management
  • Researches competitor dynamics and capabilities, voice of the customer and customer wants/needs; subject matter expert in the area of Digital Sales tools
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and quality delivery of initiatives by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints, and raising issues and risks to drive solutions
  • Performs marketing maturity evaluations across Thermo Fisher businesses and regions sales team readiness to embrace new capabilities
  • Interacts with Sr. Manager/Director level Leadership; leads by influence, engages with cross-functional teams; evangelist for redefining the way we work and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates among internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives with company goals.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience (Sales technology, Sales Operations or Digital product management)
  • Minimum 2 years Product Management experience strongly preferred
  • Experience developing strategy and achieving goals by translating strategy into projects and leading project execution
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Leader with vision in CRM and Digital Sales tools and able to bridge the gap between Marketing, Sales and IT
  • Demonstrated ability to optimally enhance technology investments

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to translate strategy into projects and drive project execution; experience with budgeting and business planning
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills; outstanding negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators to report on the health of each project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas (IT, Business Marketing, Sales, eBusiness, Digital Marketing, Finance) and third-party vendors throughout project definition and execution.
  • Able to establish relationships with key individuals vital for collaboration
  • Develop and present communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
