Job Description

As a Data Science / BI analyst, you will be part of a team dedicated to increasing business efficiency of a Fortune 200 Company. This position provides an exciting way for an intern to employ a cross section of machine learning, LLM and analytic processes to develop algorithms that will improve productivity and drive revenue growth using Power BI. You will quickly grasp complex business priorities to translate them into algorithms, LLM models and communicate the results to partners with varying degree of technical background. You should be a hands-on programmer who will use strong data mining and modeling skills to integrate multiple complex data sources, such as marketing, finance and supply chain etc. and translate them into easily consumable visualizations and support data science initiatives.

Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:

• Collect feedback and specifications from customers, iterating through agile development sprints

• Build data pipelines and transform data sets in AWS data lake infrastructure.

• Enhance existing databases, cloud platforms, visualization platform preferably Power BI for more effective business decision making.

• Work on automation and productivity initiatives that will provide exposure to automation tools and approaches.

• Create predictive models, LLM models and data science algorithms to solve business problems and present results to customers through presentations, data flow diagrams, email, and meeting structures.

• Troubleshooting and debugging: Validate the data in the central database by identifying any gaps with original source data and investigating the root cause.

Requirements:

• Understanding of Dimensional modeling and AWS cloud platform

• Understanding of Agile development

• Strong analysis skills

• Knowledge of R, Python and

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
