This leadership position is responsible for the Data and Analytics strategy and execution across the Healthcare division within our Customer Channels Group. Strategic responsibilities include building and expanding key foundational capabilities including data quality, data architecture and data insights. Operational responsibilities include sustaining and continuously improving key reporting for business performance management, improvement and decision making.

The Sr. Manager, Data Science leads the development of data science and digital marketing technologies to drive commercial success. You will be accountable for all activities related to implementing data science to develop targets for the commercial organization and on fishersci.com. This role is leads the team and processes to cultivate prospects and develop them into qualified leads for the sales organization or convert them into buyers on fishersci.com. You will work closely with Data Scientists, the audience management team and the demand generation team to ensure programs leverage data science to move potential buyers from awareness, to engagement to conversion.

Efficient and effective opportunity identification and lead management is paramount to this role, including definition and management of the processes, planning and execution of programs to effectively capture leads and move leads through the lead stages, and tracking and reporting of lead development. This person plays a key role in maintaining marketing alignment with the sales, driving sales adoption of data science programs and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with key sales team members.

Your team will demonstrate a suite of tools to find opportunities, capture leads, qualify them, route them to the sales organization and provide tracking and analysis. These tools include Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics. Experience with these tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data enablement: data quality, architecture, algorithms, visualization, science
  • Business enablement: Resourcing (skills), functional partnerships (IT, business)
  • Connect and expand cross functional analytical teams through a centralized community of practice across the division. Fuel the power of data in some of the areas highlighted
  • Demonstrate the successes of using Data Science to increase the efficiency of our sales and marketing programs in driving revenue.
  • Act as a key liaison with sales team partners, ensuring alignment between digital marketing and sales strategy

  • Lead the effective rollout and adoption of the Corporate Data Science platform to the sales organizations
  • Leverage detailed analytics to support refinement and optimization of lead qualification and Data Science programs
  • Develop the Lead Development team, championing expertise in lead development standard processes and subject areas needed to drive value and results
  • Anticipate future needs and build required expertise towards data science, personalization, omni-channel and automation in digital marketing
  • Lead program workstreams including: Data Integration, Model development, Marketing Delivery, Sales Delivery and SFDC integration
  • Act as a key liaison with sales, sales operations, marketing, IT, GSP and other partners to ensure alignment of strategy, business requirements, adherence and delivery
  • Run and lead cross-functional team to identify Data Science “plays”, prioritize ideas, assign actions, and track progress

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related data science experience.
  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
