Role Purpose Summary:

You will join a dynamic team of software developers to participate in the specification, design, testing, maintenance and implementation of software for Analytical Instruments and allied products. This software, these instruments and these technologies make a real, positive and strong impact on the lives of people across the globe.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, development, implementation and testing, of Windows .net and AWS cloud-based software.
• Develop software modules and device drivers on Windows platform using C++ and C#. This software is used to control the instrument and develop their corresponding workflows.
• Work with global software team members to deliver complete and high-quality instrument control software applications to schedule and specification
• Work on software test and support and troubleshoot critical issues.
• Provide accurate estimates to complete assigned tasks and complete software development with highest quality.
• Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work.

Candidate Educational & Professional Experience Requirement:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering with electronics / Computer Science with 8 to 12 years of experience in relevant software industry.

Competency Requirements

• Work with global software team members to deliver complete and high-quality instrument control software applications to schedule and specification.
• Experience working with High Availability and Fault Tolerant architectures
• Well versed in Design Principles and Expertise in using Design Patterns.
• Experienced in Multi-Threading and Multi Process Communication Concepts & Technologies
• Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, object-oriented design and algorithms used in programming.
• Expert in C++, MFC, COM skill set
• Knowledge of C#, .NET programming
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA / QC process and test methodologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to review and evaluate code and writings of others.
