Job Description

Thermo Fisher is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Digital Product Manager Specialist, specifically for Digital Sales Enablement. In this role, you will collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to develop and implement the digital sales enablement strategy, tools, and initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to the product roadmap and facilitate the integration of new capabilities into the Sales team. Working closely with Commercial and Sales operations partners, you will play a crucial role in defining the requirements for new Sales capabilities and features. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong combination of Sales and Sales technology knowledge, as well as excellent skills in requirements elicitation and communication. As the voice of the customer, you will effectively articulate and prioritize desired functionality.

A day in the Life:

  • Participate in the development of the Digital Sales Enablement Strategy and roadmap. Provide input into the product and feature roadmap based on business needs and priorities.
  • Define requirements for new capabilities and works with IT and business teams to facilitate development of new capabilities in the areas of Digital Sales Enablement.
  • Work with the Commercial teams to define the process and build new capabilities for Digital Sales Enablement
  • Find opportunities to use Generative AI, automation and machine learning technology to improve sales processes and outcomes
  • Define and build capabilities to deploy insights to find opportunities, advise sales of what prospects and customers need based on their sales and marketing engagement
  • Provide Sales with tools to improve selling process using integrating marketing sales data, content and insights
  • Responsible for support and compliance of global data privacy laws within the product management area of responsibility
  • Define and supervise key performance indicators to measure the efficiency and impact of digital sales enablement initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to partners.
  • Responsible for the enhancing, scaling, optimizing and adoption of product area capabilities across Thermo Fisher Scientific business divisions
  • Researches competitor dynamics and capabilities, voice of the customer and customer wants/needs; subject matter expert in the area of Digital Sales tools
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and quality delivery of initiatives by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints, and raising issues and risks to drive solutions as necessary
  • Performs marketing maturity evaluations across Thermo Fisher businesses and regions sales team readiness to embrace new capabilities
  • Interacts with various levels of Leadership; leads by influence, engages with cross-functional teams; evangelist for redefining the way we work and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates among internal partners to ensure alignment of objectives with company goals.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience (Sales technology, Sales Operations or Digital product management)
  • Previous experience gathering and developing business and technical requirements strongly preferred
  • Experience developing strategy and achieving goals by translating strategy into projects and leading project execution
  • Understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Thought leader in CRM and Digital Sales tools and able to bridge the gap between Marketing, Sales and IT
  • Shown ability to optimally improve technology investments
  • Ability to translate strategy into projects and drive project execution; experience with budgeting and business planning
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills; outstanding negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators to report on the health of each project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas (IT, Business Marketing, Sales, eBusiness, Digital Marketing, Finance) and third-party vendors throughout project definition and execution.
  • Able to establish relationships with key individuals vital for collaboration
  • Develop and present communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$125,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
