Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.

As a Product Owner Industrial IoT, you will work closely with our product management, analyzing

feedback from the market, translating it into features and defining how they should be developed. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the R&D team delivers on the mission of your product in time and budget. With your strong knowledge and expertise, you will support our experts in being the driving force to define and develop Industrial IoT software solutions. As part of the Digital Factory Automation Team you will be embedded in an agile development set-up and being part of an international team in our Product Group Software.

Your responsibilities

• Evaluate, define, select and own the right architecture and technology for the development for IIoT application and ecosystem development under long life time aspects
• Analyze and compare relevant competitor products
• Coordinate work with other Product Owners to ensure interoperability
• Contribute to creation of vision and roadmap for analytics solutions
• Setup and support prototype and lab environments
• Accompany and coordinate proof of concept installations at our customers
• Specification and prioritization of user stories and definition of business acceptance criteria
• Conduct scrum meetings, maintain development backlog and assign work to global development
• teams and partners

Your background

• Studies in the field of Data, Computer Science, engineering, information technology or
• Familiarity with Industrial IoT technology (e.g. Edge technology, Shop Floor Connectivity, Cloud,
• Container etc.).
• Good understanding on machine learning methods and tools
• Experience with software development processes and languages (Python preferred) and
• transforming data into value adding features
• Understanding and Knowledge of Machine Automation including Security
• Open and pragmatic team player with hands-on mentality
• Good German and English skills
• Proven track record as product owner for software applications in an agile development setup.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to set clear priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and switch effortlessly between business and technical terminology

In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of € 3.921,29 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
