WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The position will be responsible for performing Salesforce.com duties within the Admin Portal. It will be essential to have the ability to turn business requirements into Salesforce.com Objects, be able to edit existing Page Layouts, and create ad hoc Reports within the tool. This role will also drive the Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives within Structural Heart division in partnership with the U.S. and CALA SH Commercial Team (Sales, Marketing and Finance.)

This role is essential in driving alignment of the of the Global Commercial Excellence initiatives within the U.S. and CALA geographies. The Analyst will be the primary stakeholder responsible for supporting the CALA geography, while also allocating approximately half of their time to the U.S. geography.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and support the CALA and U.S. Commercial Team needs and integrate into the team.
  • Basic SFDC admin skills – Create new fields, add new values to Picklist, create Custom Objects, page layouts, Setup new users, assign roles, profiles, and identify permission sets.
  • Drive SFDC to maximize sales force productivity, identify gaps, and implement action plan with timelines through monthly monitoring.
  • Track effectiveness, train, support and ensure adoption of the CRM (Salesforce.com) application across the U.S. and CALA SH commercial team.
  • Act as the first line of support to manage CALA field force requests, queries, troubleshooting and technical issues related to salesforce.com. Partner with global IT to offer sustainable solutions.
  • Support, train, and collect feedback from users in local language. Ability to train from basic to advanced Salesforce.com users.
  • Drive SFDC to maximize sales force productivity, identify gaps, and implement action plan with timelines through monthly monitoring.
  • Provide visibility to the Global Commercial Excellence Team and integrate work locally to customize and implement Sales Process, Salesforce.com, and Power BI initiatives/tools.
  • Partner with the Sales Management teams in CALA/U.S. to build and maintain the sales process in Salesforce.com with insightful solutions to track accounts opening, opportunity by therapy and key activities required to sustain and grow business.
  • Ensure system data integrity and continuous improvement by interacting with IT, Finance and HR stakeholders.
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting based on business requests/needs to support business reviews and LBE process, in close partnership with Finance and Commercial Team.
  • Drive capability building on new systems to new employees; Maintain capability building of the field team with SFDC.
  • Provide day-to-day support to end-users, address their questions/needs.
  • Be the guardian of our Sales Process usage by ensuring solid adoption, data entry, issue resolution and supporting the end-users.
  • Maintain, monitor and update key insights (market share, adoption, business intelligence, trends, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Data Repositories – gather and report on Salesforce, SAP and other data sources data into Salesforce.com reports/dashboards and Power BI reports.
  • Manage territory alignment for each therapy to support reporting capabilities, role hierarchy structure for end user security and permissions.
  • Develop reporting with relevant metrics and KPI’s to be shared systematically and reviewed during business reviews in collaboration with FP&A.
  • Adopt Abbott SH mission and vision, understand portfolio and embrace SH core values.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING 

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors/University Degree - preferably in Computer Systems, Statistics and/or Business.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • 3+ years of business experience in customer facing and SFDC support.
  • 1-2 years’ experience training SFDC to various end users (sales, marketing, managers).

PREFERRED:

  • Medical device industry experience a plus.
  • Strong Business Acumen - ability to develop strategic recommendation based on analysis of complex data input and present to client/ product teams.
  • Ability to consider complex problems and offer valid solutions.
  • Detail oriented with strong presentation skills.
  • Project Management - able to offer practical experience of successful CRM application in the field.
  • Relationship Building, Influencing and Communications - proven ability to work cross functionally, internationally and interact at all levels of the business from Executive level down.
  • Exemplary customer focus and prove relationship building skills.
  • Operational and Systems skills - strong systems and analytics background.
  • Intimate knowledge and experience of SAP, Power BI, Salesforce systems.
  • Team Player - proven ability to partner with internal sales team and participate in sales meetings and events providing proper data and insights in alignment with commercial team needs.
