This position reports to Service Owner - BPA

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test automation workflows.
• Ensuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and development best practices.
• Working directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs.
• Monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Producing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward
• Living ABB’s core values of courage, care, curiosity and collaboration

Your background

• 5+ years of professional experience in automation development
• Experience working with one or more RPA technologies such as Blue Prism (preferred), UiPath, Automation Anywhere
• Prior experience in object-oriented programming (C#,C++, VB, Java or Python preferred)
• Experience working with web-services
• Strong working knowledge of SQL
• Ability to perform unsupervised work in multiple projects
• Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in English
• Blue Prism certifications desired
• Experience with desktop automation and scripting (VBA, PowerShell)
• SAP automation experience
• Prior experience working within Azure/AWS cloud hosted environments
• Experience working with Machine Learning (ML), OCR implementations
• Working within DevOps lifecycle environment
