Model validation is the process where a trained model or a developed algorithm are evaluated with test data to judge the fitness and accuracy of the model output. In this role you will be developing a broad capability to validate our models based on test data sets. Test data needs to be collected and created from various sources including laboratories, field data, or synthetic simulations. You will be the interface between model development and product development, and you will be responsible for overseeing the validation process and judging when individual models will be accurate enough to be released for our product development process. Also, you will make sure that the accuracy of our models will increase constantly and secure leadership in our field. This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Finland, Poland or India.
