Job Description

RabbitHole, a cutting-edge token distribution platform, is looking for a highly motivated data scientist. In this role, you will be responsible for helping us understand both how users are using the product and build models to make token distribution from protocols more efficient.

In this role, you will be the first data scientist on the team and play a critical role in shaping the direction of the team. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of how on-chain data works, and be able to quickly test hypotheses about user behavior, model performance, and on-chain metrics that inform the success of protocols. Working closely with the engineering team, you will be responsible for regularly updating the entire company on data initiatives. You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Day to day, you will also lead user data cleaning, analysis, monitoring, and modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Lead our understanding of how users are interacting with our product and the core platform
• Develop and implement experiments with engineering to test hypotheses that drive growth adoption and growth for external protocols and the core platform
• Define, analyze, and communicate on-chain metrics that inform the success of protocols and help develop tools for the protocols we serve
• Develop pipelines and dashboards to monitor user interactions and stay attuned to significant changes
• Lead product understanding using data to identify opportunities in funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and trends
• Lead new models from ideation to experimentation and work cross-functionally with software engineers to productionize these new variables
• Design, manage, and analyze experiments around product changes
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto industry to ensure our products and services stay at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment or a data-related role, working with a team on production-level projects
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Fluency in SQL and Python
• Expertise in both Bayesian and frequentist statistical techniques
• Experience modeling user data and user behavior and presenting information to make data-informed decisions
• Experience answering unstructured questions and managing projects and tasks to a conclusion
• Strong communication skills and an active curiosity
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
