About the team FreeWheel takes an innovative, collaborative, and white-glove approach in providing best-in-class services and forward-looking business solutions for the media industry. This opportunity is at FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, and will be principally focused on Beeswax, our Demand Side Platform (DSP) programmatic offering. The Client Solutions team ensures our clients experience exceptional service from pre-sales scoping through to implementation and retention. We use our deep domain knowledge, system expertise and close engagement with our clients to ensure Freewheel is delivering to meet our client’s critical business challenges and evolving needs. We are tasked with developing creative and pioneering software solutions to the business challenges faced by the world’s largest Media and AdTech companies. We are a vital partner for other Freewheel functions, and your communication skills, passion for media, and business & technical acumen will all contribute to the development of complex solutions that power the future of the industry.

About the role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Solutions, this role is a primary point of contact for their client(s) and will use their skills and knowledge to help the client improve their time to value and return on investment for our products and services. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams to provide solutions for Beeswax's newest customers and prospects while managing their initial implementations through to a steady-state handoff to Account & Customer Success teams. You are an AdTech guru who simplifies the challenging language of the industry for customers new to programmatic and who can also own a room with ad tech veterans and chief technology officers. This role requires engaging with both enterprise clients and nimble startups to ensure their technical needs are met, issues are resolved with speed and quality, and toughest questions are answered about our Bidder-as-a-Service™ and DSP platforms prior to and during their implementation phase. You will be goaled with ensuring clients move through their trial phase and become full-term customers who spend at scale on our platform. You will also be responsible for re-engaging existing customers that are now looking to implement new complex features and need specialized technical expertise. They will work as part of a global team that can be deployed on global, regional and/or local opportunities as required. An important aspect of the Senior role is to coach more junior members of the team, driving the governance of our methodologies, defining strategies to help evolve our best practices and processes that allow us to scale successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert on the Beeswax platform
  • Deeply understand customers' technical requirements and architect elegant technical solutions
  • Partner with Revenue on pre-sales engagements, elicit customer technical and business KPIs, and define the success criteria of an engagement
  • Develop custom onboarding plans and manage onboarding to steer a customer toward success and scaled spend through the platform
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, particularly in ad ops, engineering, data science, and product roles
  • Provide ongoing feedback to product and engineering to offer scalable solutions for our customers
  • Go deep to troubleshoot customer issues and manage more complex issues that require product and engineering resources through to resolution
  • Scope, configure, test, and deliver our bidder and DSP software solutions, requiring a degree of technical competency and understanding, leveraging skills such as SQL, API management e.g. (Postman/Azure), Python/ JavaScript, Visual Studio, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Consult and implement various Professional Services statements of work (SOW) as required, varying from custom reporting pipeline delivery, Bid Model builds, API scripting and various ad hoc custom solutions using data science methodologies
  • Coach and support junior members of the team helping them overcome challenges and develop expertise
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
