Job Summary

Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, helps local, regional and national advertisers use the best of digital with the power of TV to grow their business. It provides multi-screen marketing solutions to make advertising campaigns more effective and easier to execute. The Insights & Analytics team within Effectv is responsible for delivering relevant, timely, comprehensive, and scalable data solutions to support the decisions of our internal customers and external clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate MLOps Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Machine Learning deployment infrastructure supporting the Data Science team. In collaboration with the Data Scientists, the MLOps Engineer will identify customers’ business goals and propose ideal MLOps tools and best practices to achieve those goals reliably and efficiently.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Analytics, Engineering and Data Science team to enhance our data driven decision making culture.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and technical leads to build pipelines, feedback loops, ML workflows, and APIs to be consumed by the Product team and other internal business partners.
  • Design machine learning model artifact and feature stores in collaboration with enterprise data scientists.
  • Implement a robust system for measuring and optimizing the quality of deployed algorithms and models.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML use cases, including building, deploying, maintaining and monitoring ML solutions in production.?
  • Build Continuous Testing environment to evaluate efficacy of developed models over time
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise MLOps, including mentoring and directing junior engineers
  • Collaborate with data scientists to help integrate MLOps into the model development process and assist in setting best practices to support scalable data science solutions.?
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications

  • 5+ years' of experience training, deploying, and monitoring end to end machine learning pipelines with extensive knowledge of evaluation metrics and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field – (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science). Masters preferred
  • A strong DevOps, Data, and ML background
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
  • R or Python and SQL experience is required
  • Understanding of various aspects of data preparation, feature engineering model training
  • Experience with tools and programming languages to include Docker, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, MLFlow, Amazon Sagemaker, or Databricks and GitHub.
  • Cloud databases including Google Cloud platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of other programming languages like Scala is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of statistics to include linear and logistic regression, supervised machine learning and time series forecasting preferred
  • Knowledge of building statistical, machine learning, NLP, and AI models preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with ambiguity.?
  • Able to provide direction/support to more junior analysts
