The Reporting & Analytics Organization (R&A) is a global organization responsible for all the data management, reporting and analytics for the Commercial Organization, Category, Finance, Supply-Chain and Customer Support – globally and including Regions, Market and Country level reporting.

The Business Management Solutions (BMS) team is part of the global R&A team and holds responsible for delivering data and analytics solutions to Enterprise Business Planning, Category and Sales Operations teams.

Objective/Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Techno Functional SME specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) solutions on the Azure platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust BI solutions using various Azure services and tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and developers, to ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions that meet business objectives. As a Senior Techno Functional SME, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and thought leadership to junior team members while staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their BI requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions on the Azure platform, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
  • Lead and participate in the development and implementation of data integration, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and data visualization components.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the selection, configuration, and utilization of Azure services to meet specific business needs and performance requirements.
  • Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of BI solutions to ensure efficient and scalable data processing and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of data across Azure services and environments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, tools, and industry trends, and evaluate their potential application and benefits to enhance existing BI solutions.
  • Provide mentoring and technical leadership to junior team members, guiding them in BI solution development best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and actively contribute to project planning and estimation.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing activities, conduct workshops, and contribute to the development of BI solution frameworks, standards, and documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and management. Facilitate effective communication, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing and implementing BI solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing concepts, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with SQL-based querying, scripting, and optimization.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or PowerShell for data manipulation and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient BI solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Product Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Added advantage if working experience or knowledge of ThoughtSpot, Machine Learning, AI.
  • Experience of MPP databases like Teradata, Vertica or Netezza will be an added advantage.

  • To inform the manager and/or the employer about the accidents he suffered.
  • To participate at EHS trainings (at employment, at the workplace, periodical, at the change of workplace or transfer, when introducing a new work equipment or in case of changes of existent equipment) and to perform medical labor safety examinations at employment and periodic.
  • To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to make possible the achievement of any measures or requirements provided by labor and health inspectors to protect the health and safety of employees.
  • To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to allow the employer to ensure that the work environment and conditions are safe and without health and safety risks in his area of activity.
  • To learn and comply with legislation requirements in the field of health and safety at work, and with provisions of HP Inc. standards.
  • To provide all the necessary information required by the labor and health protection inspectors;
  • To comply with the fire protection provisions issued by the company management.
