Job Description

• Internship agreement between university, company, student

• Flexible schedule for part time (4h/day) or full time (8h/day) for a 6 to12 months agreement (the minimum period agreement is 6 months both in Madrid and Barcelona)

• Lunch in the cafeteria

• 2 days off per month

• Love sports? Then take advantage of our sports center (indoor and outdoor); gym, squash courts, tennis courts, basketball courts and with 25+ regular coordinated activities / sports by employees​, such as HIIT training, squash, basketball and yoga

• A Young employee Network (YEN) which host fun events on a regular basis; such as “beer bust” Fridays at different venues including the beach in the summertime.

• We have an onsite Doctor and medical team for our employees, including services such as: nutrition, physiotherapy and general health

The Large Format Printing GBU is responsible for the business strategy, product portfolio and research and development for all HP Large Format Printing products at WW level, including HP DesignJet, HP PageWide XL, HP Latex and HP Stitch printers. About the role:

The Internship Engineer will learn big data processing, to analyze printer reporting metrics for a large population of HP printers installed in the field at customer sites, as well as printers under development. Looking for a person with a system view, that can extract conclusions and key learnings from big data and develop machine learning algorithms that will improve printer performance.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary teams working on new products and solutions, solving solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives.

About you:

• Currently studying Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, mathematician or Telecommunications.

• Availability to establish internship agreement with University during 6-12 months, either on a part time or full-time basis.

• Availability to start from November 2023 onwards

• Basic understanding of Python.

• Basic understanding of modern operating systems, especially Linux

• Demonstrated ability to work with a group of peers.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
