We at Advanced Design Technology within Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) group strive to provide best in class development tools for Silicon Package, Board technologies for intel and its worldwide partners.

• We are seeking AI Machine and Deep Learning graduate student with a history of excellent execution and attention to details.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature.
• U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
• Work individually and in teams in a dynamically fast paced environment.
• Start-up like environment where hands on execution is a must.
• Design, implement, validate, and prepare the datasets for AI model
• Develop models data sets, train and make it robust.
• Responsibilities may be quite diverse and technical in nature.
• Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Expectations:

• This will be hands on position, please expect minimum to no supervision at times.
• Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, regression, and rules-based models
• Suggest, collect, and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmap
• Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team
• Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU)
• Perform specific responsibilities which vary by team

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

Qualifications

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Requirements

• Pursuing a master's degree with 6+ months of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or related fields and enrolled in school throughout the internship program

6+ months of research experience in one or more of the following:

• Machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or computer vision a plus

Preferred

6+ months of experience with:

• Software engineering experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or papers
• Systems software or algorithms
• C,C/C++/Java/GO or Python
• Scripting languages such as Perl, PHP, Python, and shell scripts
• Hadoop/HBase/Pig or Map-Reduce/Sawzall/Bigtable
