We are currently looking for an ML Solutions Engineer to work from our SF Bay area offices who is responsible for demonstrating to prospective customers how the Robust Intelligence Platform will address their business needs and working with new customers to help them get the most value out of the platform. Engineers will partner closely with the Founders, GTM, Customer Success, Product Management, and Engineering. The ML Solutions Engineer is a highly visible technical and product expert throughout the sales and post-sales process and a primary driver for internal advancement of customer requirements.

You’ll work closely with our Sales team as the technical lead during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward by overcoming technical objections and building solutions around RIME. You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and partner with Growth to drive the adoption of new products by existing customers. You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the AI ecosystem and a deep understanding of how data scientists and machine learning engineers develop and deploy AI models.

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver technical demos.
• Investigate and understand customer needs.
• Scope customer trials and projects. Design POC requirements that satisfy customer needs and are technically feasible.
• Build custom solutions on top of the platform.
• Work with customers to architect integrations with their existing machine learning stack.
• Debug end-user issues.
• Work with customers to design best practices, processes, and frameworks for their organization.
• Understand, synthesize and relay customer feedback to Product.
• Desired Skills and Experience:
• Become a power-user of the RI Platform, know all the ins and outs of the user experience (using the API’s, navigating the GUI, integrating with different platforms, etc.)
• Become well-versed in the ML-side implementation details, so that you can debug issues, quickly implement custom asks, and make educated estimates of the feasibility of different features.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly and concisely.
• General statistics, ML and applied ML knowledge.
• Solutions-oriented and creative. Ability to identify needs and gaps in current solution and feasible workarounds.
• Responsive and reliable. Act with a sense of urgency in combination with excellent project management skills.
• Strong business acumen. When working with a prospective or existing customer, be able to identify champions, understand needs, and know how to speak to those needs.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience building ML models and putting them into production.
• Understanding of: Unix, Docker, k8s, REST, Python.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Experience with tooling and platforms in the ML ecosystem (Huggingface, MLFlow, Databricks, DataRobot, etc.)
• Experience with different cloud platforms and their ML products (AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI, etc.)
• The compensation band for this position based on seniority is $140K - $180K
