Job Description

• Data mining and cleaning of a wide range of financial and non-financial information from several diverse sources
• Develops and uses predictive modelling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data
• Develop algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy.
• Assist business with casual inferences and observations with finding patterns and relationships in data.
• Deliver the right balance of accuracy and interpretability on the models created
• Apply data science principles and practices in support of business decision making

Qualifications

Required Skills

• you will possess an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Statistics or equivalent expertise
• Expert skills and knowledge on Python programming language and libraries and SQL
• Expertise and experience in relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, Big Data, analytics packages, scripting languages (i.e. Python), programing languages Ideally (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL)
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
