Intel is seeking a Senior Principal AI Engineer to build the next-generation software and AI-defined data center and grow our Cloud and AI Business. This is a technical leadership role in the emerging technologies team with deep Cloud and AI domain expertise, responsible for driving product roadmap and strategy, building early pilot programs and deploying effective and targeted products globally. The candidate will pursue these challenges as a data science thought leader and key partner in Intel's Data Center and AI organization. They will influence technical strategies to help us solidify Intel's top spot in Cloud/AI and continue our quest to revolutionize the future of cloud-based AI-enabled products across multiple industries such as autonomous vehicles, personalized health, and sustainable manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have experience building cloud-based AI-driven products across multiple verticals. The right candidate will have a combination of creativity and analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. The successful candidate will be a broad technical leader in Cloud and AI - part researcher, part hands-on developer, and part evangelist. They will craft pilots and drive development focused on winning new customer segments and growing existing customer segments for the long term. The candidate will have the technical depth and business experience to easily communicate the benefits of Cloud and AI services, platforms and frameworks to data scientists, architects, engineering teams, and C-Level executives.

Cloud-native architectures (Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless)
DataOps, MLOps (Kubeflow, Ray)
Tightly-coupled and Loosely-coupled HPC frameworks
Deep Learning, ML Frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Physics-based hybrid models (Physics-informed Neural Networks, Digital Twins)
Topological Data Analysis
Probabilistic Modeling (Bayesian modeling, Graphical models),
Global optimization
Non-linear estimation techniques
Time series forecasting
Scaling on distributed CPU and accelerated compute architectures
