The Parallel Computing Lab (PCL) in Intel Labs is seeking a graduate intern in the area of quantum computing research. PCL investigates emerging compute- and data-intensive applications in areas such as artificial intelligence, traditional high-performance computing, big data computing, computational biology, physical simulation, quantum computing, and large-scale optimization problems. We work in close collaboration with leading academic and industry co-travelers to understand the hardware and software architectural implications for Intel's parallel processing platforms.
The intern will be expected to focus on a specific project of mutual interest focusing on a target research problem in this space. In this position, you will be responsible for:

Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other related areas.
The candidate must have completed coursework in quantum physics or quantum computing.
1+ years of experience in below areas:
