Job Description

As part of the newly formed Super Compute Group, our team works on unleashing the power of Intel GPUs in a number of domains ranging from High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through inference on the edge to enabling content creation on the desktop and mobile devices. We are looking for a new software engineering manager to join our staff.

In this role you will:

• Directly manage a small number of full-time engineers and interns
• Actively participate in recruiting new team members
• Coordinate day-to-day software development activities
• Influence how our team works
• Support our engineers by removing impediments
• Provide input into work prioritization, schedules, deliverable definitions
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders on product definition and delivery

Qualifications

Minimum Skill and Experience that we are looking for:

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience or similar
• Minimum 1 year of program management experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience with working in large organizations

Preferred Skills and Experience that will make you stand out:

• Experience with Agile philosophy and methodologies
• Experience with various software development product lifecycles
• In-depth knowledge GPGPU concepts and API standards: OpenCL, OneAPI DPC++/Level Zero, CUDA
• Familiarity with HPC and/or AI domain
• Experience with open-source development for Linux including contributing to open-source projects
• Experience with test-driven development approach
• Practical knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and experience in developing applications and/or drivers for these operating systems
