Job Description

The mission of the Emerging Growth and Incubation (EGI) group is to create an environment to identify, incubate and scale new billion-dollar businesses leveraging Intel's competitive advantages. EGI is a fast paced, dynamic and startup-like organization that is responsible for incubating new ideas within Intel. We have over 1,500 employees globally. Our portfolio includes HW, SW, Solutions and SaaS businesses.
We are seeking College Graduate interns to join the Inteon team in the Emerging Growth Incubation team (EGI). As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be working closely with senior members of an internal technology start-up.
This is a 3-6 month internship and requires the candidate to work virtually/remotely until otherwise indicated.
Support sites are Santa Clara CA, Folsom CA, Hillsboro OR or Chandler AR.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Education:

• You must be pursuing a Masters degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field and keep the student status during the whole internship

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ months of experience writing and testing Deep Learning models (such as resnet, Yolo, Inception, BERT)
• 6+ months of experience with benchmarking and performance testing of DL models

Preferred Experience:

• Prior Intern Experiences in relevant areas / roles
