Job Description

This position is for a Scan Content Analyst Intern in the Manufacturing and Product Engineering team within the Design Engineering Group. In this role, you will be expected to be a part of and participate in global Product Development Engineer teams in developing processes, algorithms, and metrics for products on lead process technologies. This role is a combination of data analytics and software responsibilities that has visibility and interaction with multiple areas within Intel.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

• Creates and applies concepts to Benchmark Scan content metrics across products, fault types, and different domains to create insights for quality and test control.
• Develops and debugs software algorithms that were identified as part of the benchmark process to make them the default for automated analytics.
• Analyzes and evaluates Scan metrics outliers for business gains in real Intel products.
• Tests, validates, modifies, and redesigns algorithms and processes to efficiently execute the quality and test cost Scan metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field OR a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 3+ months experience in the following:

• Data analysis practices.
• Programming in one of the following: Python and Python based graphics like Plotly.
• Knowledge in power BI and SQL queries.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience in:
• Lean six sigma development cycle.
• Statistical analysis and characterization of semiconductor products.
• Automated Test Equipment.
• Semiconductor device physics.
• High Volume Manufacturing.
• Process definition, validation and Continuous improvement cycles.
