Job Description
Who You Are:
You are interested in honing your engineering skills while learning about cutting-edge developments in Artificial Intelligence. You have a passion for applying technology to do good in the world. If this describes you, the Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer role on the Applied Science and Technology (AST) team at AI2 may be your perfect opportunity.
Your Next Challenge:
At AI2 on the AST Skylight team, you’ll join a world class technology team that is dedicated to solving some of the world’s toughest problems. Your analytical and technical skills will make a difference: you will work on projects that are making a real impact on the lives of others. This position offers the unique opportunity to have a large impact in philanthropy efforts in areas such as ocean health in our mission to make and leave the world a better place. More specifically, possible projects that you would work on include using satellite and shipping vessel beacon data to model the behavior of bad actors worldwide and to identify illegal fishing actions.
