Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks. Used for jobs with a higher market rate than standard tech jobs.

This is an internship position and compensation will be given accordingly.Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or another related field.
• 1+ years of experience with computational / algorithmic complexity (e.g., Big O).
• 1+ years’ experience in machine learning and training deep neural networks.
• 1+ years applying deep learning to problems such as object recognition, object detection, semantic segmentation, natural language processing, etc.
• 1+ years’ experience in algorithmic implementation using a high-level, modern programming language such as C++ or Python.
• 1+ years’ experience of software development with a demonstrated ability to write efficient, readable and well-commented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A basic understanding of hardware architectures (e.g. processor-to-memory communication, memory models, processing bottlenecks, etc.).
• A basic understanding of numerical quantization such as fixed-point and reduced bit-width floating-point representation of numerical values.
• A basic understanding of distributed processing / computing.
• Accepted publications in relevant conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, etc.
• Granted patents in either US or international patent offices.
