Job Description

At Intel Labs Bangalore, we are looking for a Technical manager for a team responsible for research SoC architecture , research IP development and collaborating with Intel lab researchers across geographies. Job Description: Work closely with the Design leads and manage a team of SoC Design engineers Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure project success Mentor and groom junior team members You will also be a consultant for hardware design and be responsible for creating and tracking schedules, manage performance and drive an inclusive work environment Oversees Definition, Design, Verification, and Documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation If required work closely with firm-ware and prototyping teams to ensure best-in-class design for the program Determines Architecture, Logic design and drives system simulation Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, synthesis, constraint development and simulation for SoCs May also review vendor capability to support development Selects, develops and evaluates SoC Design Engineers to ensure efficient operations of the function Required Skills :Experience in IP design and SoC Architecture Experience in managing small teams Able to communicate effectively via communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity and work with internal/external stakeholders to ensure program success Foresee design-bottlenecks, architectural-limitations and work closely with Leads and other stakeholders to drive alternative solutions Must have skill set :Good knowledge and working experience on AMBA standards and high speed protocols Team player with an ability to guide/mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Qualification: BSEE, MSEE in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science 13+ years experience in digital design and RTL coding. Knowledge of Sys C will be an added advantage
