Job Description

The Applications Engineering team inside Habana is looking for a talented Technical Program Manager who is passionate about working on Artificial Intelligence Training and Inference as well as sophisticated software platforms, tools and processes that deliver customer focused solutions for Cloud and On-premise computing. You will be responsible managing the execution of the Applications Engineering team and collaborate with other PMs, Engineering Managers and Technical leads across the organization to align strategies, roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and releases to mitigate risks and issues. This is a technical role that will give you the opportunity to use Habana’s most advanced technology.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Drive program goals and execution; including managing the release of the Habana Synapse AI Software stack to public distribution
  • Help create content for external consumption, including webinars, tutorials, videos and other collateral focused on user experience
  • Help resolve external questions in the user forums
  • Work with Partner organizations to establish project plans, success criteria, and integrated work-schedules and commitments for the Applications Engineering team, identify risks and gaps for customer releases
  • Drive technical excellence within the team and process improvement and efficiency; work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment
  • Manage new and changing requirements from partners, work with engineering teams to adapt and adjust where vital.
  • Effectively communicate program status to Upper Management

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the following areas:
  • Project Management across large multi-team and multi-geography projects
  • Program Management tools (JIRA or Confluence)
  • Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the following areas:
  • AI Software development
  • AI Frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
  • Amazon Web Services EC2 instances
