The Opportunity

In the Digital Video & Audio Machine Learning Team we build, maintain and deploy start of the art AI and Machine Learning features within our video and audio products. Adobe Sensei features like Scene Edit Detection, Auto Reframe, or Text-Based Editing originated in this group.

With an increased focus on AI & ML throughout our apps, we are looking for an expert C++ Computer Scientist to grow and improve our native machine learning stack (Mac/Windows) and build exciting new features on top of it.

• What you'll Do
• Work closely with Research and Engineering, writing the code that drives our powerful Machine Learning and AI Media Compute engine to deliver ground breaking features that are used by millions of video editors across the world.
• Work on the latest machine learning technologies with our Hardware partners around the globe to ensure our ML models run as fast and accurate as possible on all our supported platforms.

What you need to succeed

• 8+ years of relevant practical experience.
• Proficiency in writing robust and unit-tested code in C++ 17 and Python 3.11.
• Working experience with CoreML and ONNXRuntime.
• Strong grasp of asynchronous and multi-threaded programming models and paradigms.
• Experience profiling and optimizing ML models for target hardware, including end-to-end profiling across different co-functional software stacks..
• Experience working with large and complex code bases and integrating ML models.
• If you also have experience with DirectX, Metal, PyTorch, ML Model Compression, IPC/XPC Architectures, Zero-Copy Memory Sharing and writing GPU Code - perfect. But if not, Adobe is an excellent place to learn!
