As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into valuable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving our strategic initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize python and SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract, clean, and analyze complex data sets from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively present key insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the business intelligence field, and recommend innovative solutions
  • Partner with product management / engineering to set KPIs, build & support dashboards/reports that measure these KPIs to drive engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and the ability to create compelling visualizations.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex problems and derive actionable insights.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Can communicate clearly, concisely, effectively across multiple levels within the organization, ability to transform data into clear presentations for senior leaders
  • Good understanding of A/B testing

Would be helpful:

  • A passion for and familiarity with Adobe's products
  • Experience and understanding of search related KPIs and instrumentation practices
  • Experience with big data techniques (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) and querying tools (such as Hive, Pig, Spark).
  • Working experience with machine learning and predictive modeling; Familiar with model performance metrics.
