What you'll Do

  • Partner with product managers and engineering teams to drive quality of data instrumentation.
  • Influence data-driven decision making by GTM, marketing, growth and other partner teams.
  • Drive analyses and interpretation of data. Use storytelling skills to communicate insights to partners.
  • Support teams in running growth programs and A/B tests through established standards and statistical analyses methods.
  • Hire and lead a team of engineers and scientists.
  • Develop the team’s backlog and prioritize items based on business needs.
  • Lead all aspects of the development of robust business reporting and data science capabilities (e.g. Development of machine learning classification/attribution models).
  • Ensure consistency in data quality and reporting across the Growth organization.

What you need to succeed

  • Masters or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a similar field with relevant practical experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience. Experience leading other managers or mentoring new managers is preferable.
  • Strong skills in a data science or analytics role. Hands-on experience working with large data sets using Hadoop or Apache Spark.
  • Prior experience in developing dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or other BI tools.
  • Experience in hypothesis testing or A/B testing.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to tell the story using data.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $130,300 -- $268,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
