The Opportunity

At Adobe’s Creative Cloud Growth and Data Science team we use data insights and customer understanding to enable delightful experiences for our Creative Cloud customers, and bring users to experience core product value quickly, driving customer acquisition and engagement. As a Data Scientist on this team you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in data science to drive the next stage of growth at Adobe. We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about deriving impactful customer insights from large datasets, through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive techniques. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong analytical and technical skills, along with the ability to work with multi-functional distributed global teams, and the curiosity and ability to influence data-driven decision making by key partners.

What you'll Do

  • Drive analytics for user engagement growth programs and A/b tests through analyzing results and communicating insights.
  • Partner with product managers to understand product/customer behavior and features, and use insights generated to make recommendations to improve customer experience and engagement.
  • Be a specialist of stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy data across various data sources.
  • Support regular ad-hoc data and analysis needs to better understand customer behavior.
  • Build reporting frameworks / resources that enable partners to self-serve information.
  • Partner with teams including product analytics, Go-To-Market and Campaign.

?What you need to succeed

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, or related quantitative field, or a Bachelor's degree in a similar field with relevant practical experience.
  • Strong skills in a data science/analytics role with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in hypothesis testing or A/B testing.
  • Expertise in working with large data sets using Hive/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience working with Hadoop.
  • Expertise in developing sophisticated reports/dashboards using Tableau / PowerBI or other BI tools.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize large scale data sets to generate a clear story and impactful insights.
  • A curious mind, passion, and motivation to learn new skills, tools, and analytics techniques critical to tackle business challenges.
