The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a talented and passionate Data and Analytics Engineer to extend your network and collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders across the Adobe data management space, Adobe product engineering, and the business leadership teams!

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop & tune data products, applications, and integrations on large-scale data platforms (SQL Server, Databricks, SSIS, Hana) with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability, and most of all quality.
• Analyze the business needs, profile large data sets and build custom data models and applications to drive the Adobe business decision making and customers experience.
• Participating in all aspects of data development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation.
• Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
• Additional responsibilities as needed based on specific role or team

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent experience required
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Kafka Streaming, Spark, Hana, SQL server, etc.)
• Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge in SQL, Java or JavaScript and at least one other language like Python, C#, Ruby, PHP.
• Familiarity with client-side frameworks and libraries like React, Vue, Angular, jQuery.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills, and direct experience with DevOps in a SaaS environment is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $62,900 -- $143,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
